Office magnets
Not every office magnet from the supermagnete assortment will adhere to whiteboards and whiteboard sheets. Below, we explain why this is the case and show you which office magnets you can use for which surface.For whiteboards

For whiteboard sheets
Not all of the magnets that stick to whiteboards can also be used on whiteboard sheets. That’s because of the nature of the sheets. Here, iron particles are bound in plastic – hence, they are not entirely made of iron. Magnets with a low adhesive force or a lot of weight, therefore, adhere insufficiently to whiteboard sheets.-

Coated neodymium magnets
The following applies to all neodymium magnets: Do not slide the magnets around on the whiteboard or blackboard without backing, as this may cause scratches.
We recommend using plastic-coated or rubberised neodymium magnets, which protect whiteboards and whiteboard sheets from scratches:
