Neodymium pot magnet Ø 48 mm with counterbore hole, holds approx. 63 kg

These pot magnets have a drilled cylindrical hole and can be fastened with a regular screw. For applications requiring countersunk screws, we recommend our pot magnets type CSN-48 with drilled countersunk hole. They also have a diameter of 48 mm.

The following screws fit into the ZTN-48, for example:

• Hexagon socket head cap screw: ISO 4762 M8 (8 mm)
• Hexalobular head cap screw: ISO 14580 M8 (8 mm)
• Cross recessed cheese-head screw (Form Z): ISO 7048 M8 (8 mm)

Please note: The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the pot magnet makes direct and full flush contact. Pot magnets already lose much of their adhesive force at a distance of only half a millimetre to the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in pot magnets than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets. You can find additional fascinating information on our FAQ page about pot magnet features.
