Description

Iron filings are perfect for physics lessons at schools and universities or for magnetic experiments at home with your children. These fine iron filings are also known as iron powder. It is easy to use and quickly makes magnetic field lines visible, creating fascinating patterns and shapes in the process. You will receive approx. 200 g of iron filings in a resealable plastic container.

How to use iron filings: Place a magnet underneath a pane of glass or piece of paper and then sprinkle the iron powder on top. The magnetic field lines will immediately become visible and create impressive patterns. Try different shapes and types of magnets to get different patterns. After use, put the iron filings back into the container.

Please note

Do not touch your eyes if you have iron filings on your fingers. Never let your children play with them unsupervised.
