Description

Block magnets with two countersunk boreholes. They can be fastened with countersunk screws. They are only 4 mm thick and therefore very inconspicuous when used to hang up signs, tools, etc. Especially well-suited for carpentry, kitchen installations, exhibition stand construction, shopfitting, signage technology, etc. We also carry round Pot magnets with counterbore screw-on.

Please note: Neodymium magnets are brittle and can break under excessive application of force. Therefore, we recommend a maximum tightening torque of 2 Nm when fastening this magnet.

The following screws fit into the borehole of these magnets, for example:

  • Slotted countersunk wood screw: DIN 97 (3.5 mm)
  • Cross recessed countersunk flat head screws (machine screw): ISO 7046-2 M3 (3 mm)
  • Countersunk torx screws/hexalobular socket (machine screw): ISO 14581 M3 (3 mm)
  • Hexagon socket countersunk flat head screws (machine screw): ISO 10642 M3 (3 mm)

Neodymium magnets are very brittle and can break or chip when exposed to repeated blows. To protect the magnets it would be best to slightly countersink them into a material (e.g. into the wood of the furniture).
